You all captured the moment, but these four captured the Grand Prize!

We want to thank everyone who submitted their entries—we have serious FOMO seeing all the fun you had this year! All our monthly winners have already been notified, so now it’s time to share who’s taking home the four $150 Grand Prize e-Gift cards! These winners each gave us a little extra, showing off not only their ability to frame a shot but also their storytelling and editing chops.

Congratulations to our Grand Prize winners:

Whale Watching in Akureyri

Payton W., in Iceland

“Travelling to Iceland was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me and my classmates. We got to see so many beautiful landscapes and had the best time with our tour guide!”

Voyage New York 2025 Pointe-Lévy

Jonathan G. L., in New York City

The photo captures a moment of courage on the Brooklyn Bridge. This bridge, which allows pedestrians to walk above the cars thanks to a 2nd level, was frightening for Younes and Dominique. They ended up crossing it and overcame their fear.

Senior Educational Tour to NYC

Lakesha B., in New York City

The video is a compilation of the various cultural sites we visited during our trip to none other than the Big Apple, New York City!

The Greatest City in the World

Elliana S., in New York City

When I was in NYC I took over 700 photos and I truly couldn’t choose which ones to submit. New York was a life changing experience and I’m so thankful for my teachers and WorldStrides Canada for giving me this once in a lifetime experience that I will always remember.

In addition to these top four, we’d like to shout out the monthly winners from each of our contest categories:

Picture us Here

We asked you to put that iconic landmark in the background:

February winner: Allyson C., in Paris

“I had the most wonderful time! This was my first time out of the country, and it couldn’t have been any better!!”

March winner: Liane E., in London and Paris

“Picture of the group with Big Ben.”

April winner: Karey B., in Costa Rica

“This “Árbol de la Paz” is 22.5m in circumference and 48m tall, one of the tallest in Costa Rica. This ceiba, or elephant-ear tree, Enterolobium cyclocarpum, is estimated to be 400 years old. This panoramic photo was taken by the owner of a roadside stand on our way to Monteverde.”

May winner: Naema B., in New York City

“We went to the top of the Rockefeller Center skyline adventure. It was pouring rain, which only added to the amazing experience of observing the city from so high up. These are three of my friends who made the trip so fun and worth reliving! Thank you.”

June winner: Tammy O., in France

“Proud moment representing Canada and St. Francis Xavier CHS at the Vimy Ridge monument in France. Visit of a lifetime!”

Let us cook

April winner: Charles F., in Chicago

“Seeing all my students walk in a naturally synched step while taking in the views of Syros island in Greece was simply magical! Then, a little yoga session was initiated by a student at the very peak. Wow!”

June winner: Nicole M., in Costa Rica

“Sunsets melting into the sea, footsteps in the sand, laughter shared on forest paths—these photos capture moments of joy, connection, and wonder. Each image reflects the spirit of Costa Rica: vibrant, peaceful, and full of life. This is our journey, our memory, our Pura Vida.”

Best Teacher Ever

We asked you to snap a photo of the awesome teacher who made your class trip possible:
