Overview
Take your soccer team to the next level with a trip to Barcelona to participate in the Costa Daurada Cup. They’ll envision glory with a visit to Barcelona Olympic Stadium, home of the 1992 Summer Olympics. Competing in the home country of two of Europe’s most dominant club teams, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, will fan their competitive flame as they battle to take home the Costa Daurada Cup. This competition tour is enriched by explorations of Barcelona, Salou, and Tarragona.

Arrive in Barcelona
Meet your Tour Director
Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure.
Barcelona guided sightseeing tour
Discover Barcelona with a licensed guide as you explore its mix of Gothic charm and modernist brilliance. Visit Plaza de España, then marvel at Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia, the soaring church that defines the city’s skyline. Wander through Park Güell with its colourful mosaics and sweeping views, and journey to Montjuïc Hill, home to historic fortresses and the 1992 Olympic grounds.
Camp Nou Stadium guided visit
Become a “Culé” for the day as you visit Europe’s largest stadium, home of the legendary FC Barcelona. Please note: From 2024 to 2026, the stadium is under renovation, and access during guided visits is limited.
Day 3
Training session led by your own coaching staff
Participate in a training session at a local field in the area.
Travel to Costa Daurada
Costa Daurada Cup Opening Ceremony
Attend the Costa Daurada Cup opening ceremonies, featuring performances, music, and fireworks.

Costa Daurada Cup Qualification Matches
Participate in your team's qualification matches.
Salou free time
Depart on private coach for Salou. Take this opportunity to explore Salou. You can go shop, explore the beach, go the PortAventura Waterpark or do some sightseeing.

Tarragona Tour Director-led sightseeing
Discover Tarragona’s Roman past as you explore a city shaped by ancient engineering and design. Visit the Roman Amphitheatre overlooking the sea, walk beneath the impressive Les Ferreres Aqueduct (Pont del Diable), and take in sweeping coastal views from the Balcón del Mediterráneo. Experience how history and modern life blend along this vibrant Mediterranean coast.

Costa Daurada Cup Qualification Matches
Participate in your team's qualification matches.

Day 7
Costa Daurada Cup Playoff Round Match
Participate in your team's playoff round match.

Costa Daurada Cup Playoff Round Match
Participate in your team's playoff round match.

Costa Daurada Cup Finals
If your team won its playoff matches the previous day, you will participate in the Cup Finals. If your team is not in the finals, you will depart the Costa Daurada and make your way to Barcelona.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
Through the WorldStrides Canada Financial Assistance Program (FAP), we provide travel grants to elementary and secondary school facing financial hardship. These grants, which can be up to $250 for coach tours and up to $1,000 for flight tours, are designed to make our programs more accessible to students from all backgrounds. Interested families are encouraged to speak with their school to learn more about our confidential application process.
Payment Plans
Monthly Automated Plan
Enroll with a deposit of $99 plus the cost of your travel protection plan (if included). We’ll automatically debit the rest of your tour fee from your chequing account in equal monthly payments, with the final payment due 35 days before you travel.
Please note: If two consecutive payments are declined, your account will be moved to the 4-Step Manual Plan.
4-Step Manual Plan
Manage your payments manually with a $249 initial payment plus your travel protection plan costs (if included). You’ll then make three more payments at key milestones as your departure date approaches. The final balance is due 65 days before your trip.
Please note: Payments on this plan are not automatically deducted and must be made manually.
