Our mission is to ignite a passion for lifelong learning. We do this by getting students out of the classroom and into the world, where they develop independence, problem-solving skills, and global perspective to grow as confident citizens. By encouraging initiative, creating connections and building compassion, we aim to set them up for a successful future.

Our Story
Our story begins in two places. First, in 1967, with a history teacher who sparked a global movement by taking his students outside the classroom to experience learning firsthand. That same passion for experiential learning took root in Canada over 40 years ago, with the founding of Brightspark in Toronto, Éducatours in Quebec, and more recently Explorica. Together, these legacies of educational travel have united under the WorldStrides banner, carrying on the mission to redefine what education can be with real, hands-on, unforgettable trips.
