Your musicians will explore iconic landmarks including the Reina Sofia and Alhambra, discover the vital role of organized religion in the history of Spanish culture through visits to the Toledo Cathedral and Sinagoga del Transito, and perform for international audiences.

Travel to Toledo
Day 3
Toledo guided excursion
Often called the spiritual capital of Spain, Toledo is known for its dramatic setting and rich religious history. The city was home to El Greco, who created some of his most famous works here. Visit Toledo Cathedral, one of Spain’s greatest Gothic structures, known for its impressive interior and art treasures. The tour also includes the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the oldest intact synagogue in Europe and a symbol of cooperation among cultures. Travel to Granada
Day 4
Alhambra guided visit
Explore Granada’s Alhambra on a guided visit. Students examine Moorish architecture and Islamic art while touring the gardens, Summer Palace, Medina, Royal Arab Baths, and Alcazaba fortress, gaining insight into life in medieval Al-Andalus and the cultural legacy of Muslim Spain. Please note: Entry to the main palace building is subject to availability.

Day 5
Travel to Seville via Córdoba
Stop at Córdoba to visit one of Spain’s most impressive monuments, the Moorish Mezquita, which dates from the 8th to the 10th centuries. Walk through narrow white-washed alleys, passing tile covered patios, dotted with vibrant coloured flowers. Don’t miss the beautiful back quarters.

Explore Córdoba with a local guide, from the Mezquita’s iconic arches to the flower-filled courtyards of the Jewish Quarter. Experience the city’s layered Moorish and Christian history through its architecture, culture, and everyday life.
Day 6
Seville city walk
Explore Seville on a guided walk through one of Spain’s most captivating cities. Walk through Barrio Santa Cruz’s historic streets, visit the grand Seville Cathedral, and climb the Giralda Tower for sweeping views. Continue to Parque María Luisa and Plaza de España, where architecture, history, and culture come together.

Day 7
Travel to Madrid
Madrid city walk
Explore Madrid on a guided city walk through its lively and historic streets. Walk along Gran Vía, the city’s main thoroughfare, and visit Puerta del Sol, Madrid’s bustling center. Continue to Plaza Mayor, a grand square shaped by centuries of history, where key events and daily life have long come together.
Day 8
Madrid guided sightseeing tour
Experience Spain’s capital with a licensed guide. Visit the Royal Palace, Europe’s largest, to see lavish halls and frescoes. Stroll lively Gran Vía with its theatres, shops, and cafés. Admire the Cibeles Fountain depicting the earth goddess Cybele. See the Neoclassical Puerta de Alcalá in Plaza de la Independencia, a ceremonial gateway to the city. Conclude at Columbus Square, a hub of monuments and museums.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
Through the WorldStrides Canada Financial Assistance Program (FAP), we provide travel grants to elementary and secondary school facing financial hardship. These grants, which can be up to $250 for coach tours and up to $1,000 for flight tours, are designed to make our programs more accessible to students from all backgrounds. Interested families are encouraged to speak with their school to learn more about our confidential application process.
Payment Plans
Monthly Automated Plan
Enroll with a deposit of $99 plus the cost of your travel protection plan (if included). We’ll automatically debit the rest of your tour fee from your chequing account in equal monthly payments, with the final payment due 35 days before you travel.
Please note: If two consecutive payments are declined, your account will be moved to the 4-Step Manual Plan.
4-Step Manual Plan
Manage your payments manually with a $249 initial payment plus your travel protection plan costs (if included). You’ll then make three more payments at key milestones as your departure date approaches. The final balance is due 65 days before your trip.
