Overview
Bring history and music together on a performance journey through Germany and the Czech Republic. Your choir, band, or orchestra can take the stage in Munich and Prague, two cities with rich musical legacies, including as home to famed composers Dvořák and Smetana. Your students can also look forward to experiencing Nuremberg’s powerful WWII history, explore Wagner’s home in Bayreuth, and discover Prague’s Old Town, Charles Bridge, and castle.

Meet your Tour Director
Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure.
Munich city walk
Fun-loving Munich is the perfect place to explore. Follow your Tour Director through the wide boulevards, scenic squares, and popular parks of this Bavarian capital.
Day 3
Munich guided sightseeing tour
Join a licensed guide for a whirlwind look at Munich, from its medieval heart to modern landmarks. Stroll through Marienplatz to see the Neues Rathaus and its famous Glockenspiel, framed by the twin towers of the Frauenkirche. Visit the Residenz, then explore Olympiapark, built for the 1972 Games, and step into BMW Welt to experience innovation and sleek design.
Traditional Bavarian dance class
Discover the links between traditional dance and Bavarian history. Listen and learn Bavarian music while participating in ancient folklore storytelling. You'll also learn (and demonstrate) a variety of traditional dance steps taught by local experts.
Day 4
Munich Residenz visit
Explore the former royal residence of Bavaria’s Wittelsbach rulers, where ornate state rooms, grand halls and centuries of history reveal the cultural and artistic legacy of Munich’s royal court.

Day 5
Travel to Nuremberg
Nuremberg guided sightseeing tour
Nuremberg is perhaps best known for its role in German politics. The city was the site of many Nazi rallies from 1933 to 1938. Unfortunately, 90% of the city was destroyed in 1945. The Allies chose Nuremberg as the site of the war crimes tribunals because of the city's ties to Nazi power.
Nuremberg Castle visit
Visit the Kaiserburg, the official residence of German kings and emperors from 1050 to 1571. See the Burgraves' Castle and the Municipal Buildings of the Free City.
Nazi Party Rally Grounds Museum visit
Explore the causes, consequences, and legacy of Nazi Germany at the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds, where more than one million people gathered between 1933 and 1938. Visit the museum's "Fascination and Terror" exhibition for a deeper look at the Nazi dictatorship and the history of the party rallies.
Day 6
Travel to Prague
Bayreuth city walk
Enjoy a visit to Bayreuth, a historic city best known for its connection to composer Richard Wagner. Explore its charming streets and landmarks while learning about the world-famous Bayreuth Festival, held here each year in celebration of Wagner's music.

Prague city walk
Feel the inspiration behind Franz Kafka’s novels as you wander the medieval streets of Mala Strana. Continue into Josefov, the Jewish Quarter, to see Europe’s oldest synagogue, which dates back to 1270.

Take the stage and perform for local audiences in a venue that captures the spirit of the city.
Rudolfinum visit
Explore the historic Rudolfinum, one of Prague's most celebrated cultural landmarks and home to the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. During a guided visit, discover the renowned Dvořák Hall and visit the Rudolfinum Gallery while learning about the building's rich artistic and musical heritage.
Day 8
Prague guided sightseeing tour
Explore Prague with a guided tour of Old Town Square and its famous Astronomical Clock, where carved figures appear each hour. Walk across Charles Bridge with views of the Vltava and the city’s spires, then stop at the John Lennon Peace Wall. Finish at Prague Castle, a vast complex of courtyards and palaces that once housed the Habsburgs.

Explore the immense Prague Castle in the Hradčany Quarter, recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest ancient castle in the world. The castle complex showcases nearly every major architectural style of the past millennium and includes churches, a monastery, gardens, and multiple museums.

Return home

Add 3 Days in Vienna
Extend your tour with three days in Vienna. Travel to the Austrian capital via Telč, then see landmarks including Belvedere Palace, Hofburg Imperial Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and Schönbrunn Palace. Experience Vienna’s musical traditions at the State Opera House, House of Music and Mythos Mozart, enjoy a Mozart concert in costume and sample apple strudel during a demonstration and tasting.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
Through the WorldStrides Canada Financial Assistance Program (FAP), we provide travel grants to elementary and secondary school facing financial hardship. These grants, which can be up to $250 for coach tours and up to $1,000 for flight tours, are designed to make our programs more accessible to students from all backgrounds. Interested families are encouraged to speak with their school to learn more about our confidential application process.

Monthly Automated Plan
Enroll with a deposit of $99 plus the cost of your travel protection plan (if included). We’ll automatically debit the rest of your tour fee from your chequing account in equal monthly payments, with the final payment due 35 days before you travel.
Please note: If two consecutive payments are declined, your account will be moved to the 4-Step Manual Plan.
4-Step Manual Plan
Manage your payments manually with a $249 initial payment plus your travel protection plan costs (if included). You’ll then make three more payments at key milestones as your departure date approaches. The final balance is due 65 days before your trip.
Please note: Payments on this plan are not automatically deducted and must be made manually.
