Program Overview
Take your team to the Land of Fire and Ice to sharpen their skills in a hotbed of soccer and natural history. They’ll compete against local teams, learn from professionals in exclusive coaching clinics, attend a professional soccer match, and visit Laugardalsvöllur and the Football Association of Iceland. This Icelandic tour is enriched by explorations of Reykjavik, Reykjanes, and the Golden Circle, featuring volcanoes, lava fields, geysers, waterfalls, and dramatic coastlines. On Day 7 the players will soak in Blue Lagoon geothermal spa before flying home the next day.

Reykjavik Tour Director-led sightseeing tour
Explore Reykjavik, Iceland’s vibrant capital and the nation’s first permanent settlement. Stroll along Laugavegur Street, lined with colourful boutiques and cozy cafés. Visit Bessastaðir, the official residence of Iceland’s president, and see Höfði House, where Reagan and Gorbachev met for their historic 1986 summit. Climb the 73-meter tower of Hallgrímskirkja Church, dedicated to poet Hallgrímur Pétursson, for panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains, and hear the grand 25-ton pipe organ fill the hall with sound.
Day 4
Football Association of Iceland visit
Visit to the Football Association of Iceland's headquarters and enjoy a presentation on Icelandic Football and the rise of the Icelandic national team in recent years. Participate in a question and answer session, followed by a tour of the National Stadium if availability permits.
Friendly soccer match
Play an international friendly match against a local club or academy team. Compete against athletes of similar ages and skill levels, and build connections that can turn into lasting friendships.
Professional coaching clinic
Participate in this special clinic with a guest coach, player, or instructor. The clinic is designed exclusively for your team and to enhance your skills in the areas identified by your coaching staff.

Reykjanes excursion
Eyrarbakki town, Strandakirkja church, Krýsuvík and Gunnuhver geothermal sites visit, Reykjanesviti lighthouse, "Bridge Between the Continents" visit

Golden Circle excursion
Thingvellir National Park visit, Great Geysir Strokkur, Gullfoss waterfall, Strokkur hot springs, Frioheimar tomato greenhouse visit

Attend a professional soccer match and experience the energy firsthand. Watch top international players compete as passionate crowds sing, cheer, and chant around you. This unforgettable atmosphere is subject to availability based on league schedules during your travel dates.
Blue Lagoon visit
Relax and unwind at the world-famous Blue Lagoon, a bright blue, mineral-rich geothermal spa set in the middle of a vast lava field. Soak in the warm, healing waters as clouds of steam rise around you, revealing moss-covered lava formations and the distant silhouettes of the geothermal power plant. The lagoon’s floor, covered with smooth rocks and slimy, white silica mud, adds to this uniquely Icelandic experience.

Evening excursion to view Northern Lights (September - April)
The Northern Lights tour in Iceland takes you to see a spectacular natural phenomenon which happens during the winter months. The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are caused by the interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole. Northern Lights in Iceland are visible during the winter months, from September to April. The locations visited during the Northern Lights tour vary from day to day depending on weather conditions. Because this tour is weather dependent, sightings are not guaranteed.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
Through the WorldStrides Canada Financial Assistance Program (FAP), we provide travel grants to elementary and secondary school facing financial hardship. These grants, which can be up to $250 for coach tours and up to $1,000 for flight tours, are designed to make our programs more accessible to students from all backgrounds. Interested families are encouraged to speak with their school to learn more about our confidential application process.
Payment Plans
Monthly Automated Plan
Enroll with a deposit of $99 plus the cost of your travel protection plan (if included). We’ll automatically debit the rest of your tour fee from your chequing account in equal monthly payments, with the final payment due 35 days before you travel.
Please note: If two consecutive payments are declined, your account will be moved to the 4-Step Manual Plan.
4-Step Manual Plan
Manage your payments manually with a $249 initial payment plus your travel protection plan costs (if included). You’ll then make three more payments at key milestones as your departure date approaches. The final balance is due 65 days before your trip.
Please note: Payments on this plan are not automatically deducted and must be made manually.
