Immerse your students in the unforgettable sights, cultures, and histories of Germany, France, and Spain on this journey from Munich to Madrid. Your class can look forward to exploring Heidelberg Castle, admiring the iconic architecture of Notre-Dame, and reflecting on the impact of WWII at the Dachau Concentration Camp. Your students will also visit a traditional French perfumery, admire Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia, and wander the halls of Madrid’s Grand Palace.

Day 1
Overnight flight to Germany (Munich)

Meet your Tour Director
Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure.
Day 3
Munich guided sightseeing tour
Join a licensed guide for a whirlwind look at Munich, from its medieval heart to modern landmarks. Stroll through Marienplatz to see the Neues Rathaus and its famous Glockenspiel, framed by the twin towers of the Frauenkirche. Visit the Residenz, then explore Olympiapark, built for the 1972 Games, and step into BMW Welt to experience innovation and sleek design.
Day 4
Travel to Heidelberg
Heidelberg Tour Director-led sightseeing
Join your Tour Director for a sightseeing tour of Heidelberg, a charming city surrounded by mountains, forests, and the Neckar River. Stroll through Market Square for views of Germany’s oldest university, then visit Heidelberg Castle, one of the most important Renaissance landmarks north of the Alps. Learn about its turbulent history from the Thirty Years’ War to a lightning strike in 1764, and explore the castle courtyard to see the world’s largest wine barrel, a symbol of the city’s enduring spirit and charm.
Day 5
Reims Cathedral visit
Visit the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Reims, a Gothic masterpiece and the coronation site of French kings from 815 to 1825. Restored after World War I with support from John D. Rockefeller, the cathedral survived World War II largely intact. Here, St. Rémi baptized Clovis in 496 CE, marking a pivotal moment in French and Christian history.
Day 7
Travel to Nice on the TGV
Ride the TGV, Europe’s famed high-speed train, as you travel to Nice.

Make a compelling sales pitch for a masterpiece by Cézanne, Monet, or another artist whose work highlights Provençal landscapes. Emphasize how the region’s unique light and scenery profoundly influenced their artistic vision.
Day 11
Barcelona guided sightseeing tour
Discover Barcelona with a licensed guide as you explore its mix of Gothic charm and modernist brilliance. Visit Plaza de España, then marvel at Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia, the soaring church that defines the city’s skyline. Wander through Park Güell with its colourful mosaics and sweeping views, and journey to Montjuïc Hill, home to historic fortresses and the 1992 Olympic grounds.

Add 5 Days in Andalusia and Gibraltar
Travel to Seville by way of Córdoba for a guided visit of the Mezquita, the city’s breathtaking mosque-cathedral. In Seville, tour Plaza de España, the Old Jewish Quarter, Casa de Pilatos, and the vast Gothic cathedral where you’ll ascend the Giralda Tower and see the tomb of Columbus. Spend an evening immersed in the passion of flamenco before continuing to the Costa del Sol via Granada. There, explore the Alhambra with its palaces, gardens, fortress, and royal baths. At the coast, take an excursion to Gibraltar to experience the Rock, the Moorish Castle, the Tower of Homage, and St. Michael’s Cave. Conclude your journey by returning to Madrid on the high-speed Talgo train and taking a guided city walk through Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de España before heading home.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
Through the WorldStrides Canada Financial Assistance Program (FAP), we provide travel grants to elementary and secondary school facing financial hardship. These grants, which can be up to $250 for coach tours and up to $1,000 for flight tours, are designed to make our programs more accessible to students from all backgrounds. Interested families are encouraged to speak with their school to learn more about our confidential application process.
Payment Plans
Monthly Automated Plan
Enroll with a deposit of $99 plus the cost of your travel protection plan (if included). We’ll automatically debit the rest of your tour fee from your chequing account in equal monthly payments, with the final payment due 35 days before you travel.
Please note: If two consecutive payments are declined, your account will be moved to the 4-Step Manual Plan.
4-Step Manual Plan
Manage your payments manually with a $249 initial payment plus your travel protection plan costs (if included). You’ll then make three more payments at key milestones as your departure date approaches. The final balance is due 65 days before your trip.
