Overview
Encourage your singers to step into the international spotlight at the Cracovia Cantans Choir Festival in Krakow. Your choir will perform for their peers, have the option to participate in an adjudicated experience before a panel of music experts, and enjoy an exclusive awards ceremony and gala concert. Beyond the festival, your musicians will experience one of Krakow’s oldest culinary traditions at the pretzel museum, visit Wawel Castle, and experience the rich musical heritage of Prague.

Overnight flight to Poland (Kraków)

Arrive in Kraków
Meet your Tour Director
Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure.

Day 3
Kraków guided sightseeing tour
Largely untouched during World War II, Kraków offers a powerful setting to study European history, religion, and cultural continuity. At Wawel Hill, explore Wawel Castle and its cathedral to learn about Poland’s monarchy, political power, and the role of the Catholic Church. Walk through Rynek Główny, medieval Europe’s largest town square, and visit the Cloth Hall to understand trade, daily life, and urban design in the Middle Ages. Inside St. Mary’s Basilica, examine Gothic art and religious symbolism. In the Kazimierz Jewish Quarter, study Jewish history, culture, and resilience, deepening conversations around identity, tolerance, and 20th-century European history.

Adjudicated performance
Perform for a panel of experienced adjudicators and receive constructive feedback. Available for competition category participants only.
Pretzel Museum visit and workshop
Discover one of Kraków’s oldest culinary traditions at the Obwarzanek Museum, where the city’s signature ring-shaped bread has been made for more than 600 years. Learn about its history and how it differs from the familiar pretzel, then roll up your sleeves and shape your own obwarzanek alongside a local baker.

Wawel Royal Castle visit
Situated above the Vistula River, Wawel Castle served as the seat of Polish monarchs from the 11th through the 16th century and remains an important symbol of Polish national identity. Explore medieval fortifications, Renaissance courtyards and state rooms, the Royal Private Apartments, Crown Treasury and Wawel Cathedral, the site of centuries of royal coronations and burials.

Day 6
Wieliczka Salt Mine excursion
Visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, an underground landmark and UNESCO World Heritage Site where salt has been mined since the 13th century. Explore chambers that reveal the evolution of industrial practices and discover chapels, statues, and artworks carved entirely from salt.
Awards ceremony and gala concert
Experience the festival’s gala concert, where all participating choirs perform one selection, enjoy performances from fellow ensembles and celebrate the culmination of the festival as awards are announced.
Day 7
Travel to Prague
Olomouc city walk
Wander through the heart of Olomouc, where grand Baroque architecture, lively squares, ornate fountains and the UNESCO-listed Holy Trinity Column showcase one of the Czech Republic’s most beautiful historic centres.
Day 8
Prague guided sightseeing tour
Explore Prague with a guided tour of Old Town Square and its famous Astronomical Clock, where carved figures appear each hour. Walk across Charles Bridge with views of the Vltava and the city’s spires, then stop at the John Lennon Peace Wall. Finish at Prague Castle, a vast complex of courtyards and palaces that once housed the Habsburgs.

Return home

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
Through the WorldStrides Canada Financial Assistance Program (FAP), we provide travel grants to elementary and secondary school facing financial hardship. These grants, which can be up to $250 for coach tours and up to $1,000 for flight tours, are designed to make our programs more accessible to students from all backgrounds. Interested families are encouraged to speak with their school to learn more about our confidential application process.
Payment Plans
Monthly Automated Plan
Enroll with a deposit of $99 plus the cost of your travel protection plan (if included). We’ll automatically debit the rest of your tour fee from your chequing account in equal monthly payments, with the final payment due 35 days before you travel.
Please note: If two consecutive payments are declined, your account will be moved to the 4-Step Manual Plan.
4-Step Manual Plan
Manage your payments manually with a $249 initial payment plus your travel protection plan costs (if included). You’ll then make three more payments at key milestones as your departure date approaches. The final balance is due 65 days before your trip.
