Overview
Our program brings you the best of both worlds: the consistency you rely on and the flexibility your group needs.
Immerse your students in the natural beauty, vibrant cities, and rich culture of Brazil and Argentina on this journey from Rio to Buenos Aires. Your students will take in a bird’s eye view of Rio de Janeiro from the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, experience the lively beats of Brazilian samba, and discover the power of Iguaçu Falls. Your group will also explore the Argentinian rainforest, visit San Telmo market, and wander through the colourful streets of La Boca.
Itinerary

Day 2
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro
Meet your Tour Director
Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure.
Day 3
Corcovado Mountain ascent via cogwheel train
Experience Rio’s most spectacular landmark up close. Ride a Swiss-made cogwheel train up Corcovado ("hunchback") Mountain, passing through the lush Tijuca National Forest. At the summit, marvel at the statue of Christ the Redeemer, which gazes out over the city. The views are breathtaking, and the statue itself is impressive, standing nearly 100 feet tall and weighing over 1,000 tons.
Sugarloaf Mountain ascent
Jump in what may be your most spectacular glass-elevator ride ever. Sugarloaf Mountain (named because it resembles the ceramic mold used to refine sugar cane) rises up from the intersection of Guanabara Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. You'll take a glass-sided cable car up the peak, where you'll find amazing views of the entire city and beyond.
Brazilian folklore evening
Indulge in the flavors, sounds, and sights of traditional Brazilian culture, from samba dancing to capoeira martial arts.
Day 4
Guanabara Bay cruise
Cruising Guanabara Bay offers a unique way to take in Rio’s famous landmarks like Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer from the water.
Day 5
Fly to Iguaçu
Iguazu Falls National Park visit (Brazilian side)
The spray from the enormous and spectacular waterfalls in Iguazu National Park creates a lush rainforest environment filled with unique animals. Keep an eye out for giant otters and anteaters, as well as exquisite orchids and other plants, as you explore. Get up close to Iguazu Falls, which plunge from more than 50 feet above, and follow a stone staircase leading to the river above.
Day 6
Iguazu Falls National Park visit (Argentinian side)
Explore Iguazu National Park, home to up to eight miles of trails on the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. Follow three different circuits: the upper circuit offers panoramic views from above, while the lower circuit takes you through the forest and beneath cascading water. Ride a short train along the final circuit, then walk across river bridges to reach the Devil’s Throat, the most powerful and dramatic of the falls. If water levels permit, cross to Isla San Martín for a different perspective of this natural wonder.

Discover local wildlife in this subtropical rainforest, then enjoy panoramic views of the world’s largest waterfall system.
