Overview
Enhance your team’s skills with an immersive soccer program in Barcelona and Madrid, home of the most dominant club teams in Europe. Players will grow their technique in professional coaching clinics and friendly matches with local teams. They’ll tour the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of the Real Madrid Football Club, and have the opportunity to walk on the pitch. Visits to historic sites in each city and medieval Girona round out an exceptional soccer adventure.

Day 1
Overnight flight to Spain (Barcelona)
Day 2
Arrive in Barcelona
Meet your Tour Director
Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure.
Welcome meeting and orientation
Training session led by your own coaching staff
Participate in a training session at a local field in the area.
Day 3
Barcelona guided sightseeing tour
Discover Barcelona with a licensed guide as you explore its mix of Gothic charm and modernist brilliance. Visit Plaza de España, then marvel at Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia, the soaring church that defines the city’s skyline. Wander through Park Güell with its colourful mosaics and sweeping views, and journey to Montjuïc Hill, home to historic fortresses and the 1992 Olympic grounds.
Gaudí’s Sagrada Família guided visit
This breathtaking church, considered the masterpiece of architect Antoni Gaudí, has been under construction since 1882 and is expected to be completed in 2026. Despite its unfinished state, its 18 soaring towers soar above Barcelona’s skyline, making it a must-see landmark.
Olympic and Sport Museum visit
With a historic, ethical, playful and education vision, the Joan Antoni Samaranch Olympic and Sport Museum is home to pioneering equipment in Europe. It shows a global perspective on all disciplines and methods of sport in an interactive space that boasts advanced technology in all areas, transforming the museum into a spectacle for the senses. New technologies play a very important role through interactive exhibits and multimedia installations, showcasing experiences and provoking reflection.

Day 4
Montserrat excursion
Journey to Montserrat, a stunning mountain retreat northwest of Barcelona. Explore the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, home to the famed statue of Our Lady of Montserrat, and admire the jagged peaks, sacred caves, and breathtaking views that have inspired pilgrims and visitors for centuries.
Professional coaching clinic
Participate in this special clinic with a guest coach, player, or instructor. The clinic is designed exclusively for your team and to enhance your skills in the areas identified by your coaching staff.
Day 5
Camp Nou Stadium guided visit
Become a “Culé” for the day as you visit Europe’s largest stadium, home of the legendary FC Barcelona. Please note: From 2024 to 2026, the stadium is under renovation, and access during guided visits is limited.

Day 6
Travel to Spain (Madrid)
Training session led by your own coaching staff

Day 7
Madrid guided sightseeing tour
Experience Spain’s capital with a licensed guide. Visit the Royal Palace, Europe’s largest, to see lavish halls and frescoes. Stroll lively Gran Vía with its theatres, shops, and cafés. Admire the Cibeles Fountain depicting the earth goddess Cybele. See the Neoclassical Puerta de Alcalá in Plaza de la Independencia, a ceremonial gateway to the city. Conclude at Columbus Square, a hub of monuments and museums.

Attend a professional soccer match and experience the energy firsthand. Watch top international players compete as passionate crowds sing, cheer, and chant around you. This unforgettable atmosphere is subject to availability based on league schedules during your travel dates.
Day 8
Real Madrid Stadium guided visit
Tour of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of the Real Madrid football club. The third most visited museum in Madrid. The museum compiles all of the history surrounding the club and has interactive screens to learn everything about the team. Our tour will include a walk on the field and an opportunity to enter the dressing room of the team to feel the excitement the players feel before going out on the pitch. (The tour may be modified in the event of a match day.)
LEGENDS Madrid visit
Located near the Puerta del Sol, LEGENDS Madrid invites you to a spectacular chronological journey through the history of football. Enjoy a colossal permanent exhibition, which includes transcendental experiences and events around the beautiful sport. Feel the emotions experienced by the protagonists in the main competitions through objects and original pieces of incalculable value. Admire the jerseys of the greatest: Pelé, Cruyff, Maradona, Messi, Zidane, Iniesta, Paolo Rossi … or discover what the boots and balls of the first World Champions were like. All that and much more awaits you at LEGENDS Madrid.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
Through the WorldStrides Canada Financial Assistance Program (FAP), we provide travel grants to elementary and secondary school facing financial hardship. These grants, which can be up to $250 for coach tours and up to $1,000 for flight tours, are designed to make our programs more accessible to students from all backgrounds. Interested families are encouraged to speak with their school to learn more about our confidential application process.
Payment Plans
Monthly Automated Plan
Enroll with a deposit of $99 plus the cost of your travel protection plan (if included). We’ll automatically debit the rest of your tour fee from your chequing account in equal monthly payments, with the final payment due 35 days before you travel.
Please note: If two consecutive payments are declined, your account will be moved to the 4-Step Manual Plan.
4-Step Manual Plan
Manage your payments manually with a $249 initial payment plus your travel protection plan costs (if included). You’ll then make three more payments at key milestones as your departure date approaches. The final balance is due 65 days before your trip.
