Introduce your students to the unforgettable sights and sounds of Buenos Aires. Your students will visit iconic spots including the National Museum of Fine Arts, San Telmo market, and the colourful streets of La Boca. Your class can also look forward to participating in a tango class, spending a full day in the countryside on a local estancia, and discovering Colonia del Sacramento, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Meet your Tour Director
Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure.
Buenos Aires city walk
Discover why Buenos Aires is considered the “Paris of the South” as you explore the elegant neighborhoods of Retiro and Recoleta, known for their wide boulevards and early 20th-century Parisian architecture. Walk along 9 de Julio Avenue, one of the widest in the world, and visit La Recoleta Cemetery, resting place of several Argentine presidents and Eva Perón. Admire the Floralis Genérica sculpture and browse local art at Plaza de Francia.

Day 3
Buenos Aires guided sightseeing tour
Smoldering with history, beauty, and passion, the streets and plazas of Buenos Aires exude a sophistication unrivaled in South America. Discover iconic landmarks and experiences, including the Obelisk on 9 de Julio Avenue, Colón Theater, Palace of Justice, Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Buenos Aires Cathedral, La Boca and Caminito, the San Telmo comic strip walk and market, Plaza de San Martín, and the waterfront district of Puerto Madero.
Tango dance class
Take part in a tango class in Buenos Aires, the birthplace of this iconic dance. Learn basic steps and techniques from local instructors while experiencing the passion and rhythm that define Argentina’s cultural heritage.

Enjoy a live tango show where professional dancers bring Argentina’s most iconic tradition to life.
Day 4
Estancia full-day excursion
Travel to the countryside to visit an estancia (ranch), where you’ll enjoy a traditional asado (Argentine barbecue) and try mate, the country’s iconic herbal drink. Experience gaucho culture through dances, games, and a variety of activities including guided horseback riding, carriage rides, a photographic safari, and folkloric performances. End the day with pastelitos (traditional Argentine sweet pies) for dessert. For safety reasons, weight restrictions apply to the horseback riding activity.
Day 5
Colonia del Sacramento guided excursion
Ferry across the Río de la Plata to Uruguay for a day in the charming town of Colonia del Sacramento. Enjoy lunch at a downtown restaurant before exploring highlights like El Faro (the historic lighthouse) and the Plaza de Toros Real de San Carlos. Wander through the historic quarter, founded in 1680, where Portuguese-influenced architecture and cobbled streets evoke the feel of old Lisbon. Located in southwestern Uruguay, this picturesque area was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995.
Day 6
El Tigre excursion (optional)
Take a scenic riverside train ride about 18 miles northeast of Buenos Aires to Tigre, where you'll board a boat to explore the Paraná River Delta. Enjoy the natural beauty of the region and learn about the customs, culture, and daily life of the isleños—the people who live on the islands of the Delta.

Add 3 Days in Bariloche
Fly to the scenic Patagonian town of Bariloche and enjoy a guided visit along the Circuito Chico, a panoramic route tracing the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Take a chairlift to the summit of Mount Campanario for sweeping views of lakes and snowcapped peaks. Round out your experience with a visit to a local chocolate museum, where you’ll learn about the city’s sweet traditions and sample some treats before heading home.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
Through the WorldStrides Canada Financial Assistance Program (FAP), we provide travel grants to elementary and secondary school facing financial hardship. These grants, which can be up to $250 for coach tours and up to $1,000 for flight tours, are designed to make our programs more accessible to students from all backgrounds. Interested families are encouraged to speak with their school to learn more about our confidential application process.
Payment Plans
Monthly Automated Plan
Enroll with a deposit of $99 plus the cost of your travel protection plan (if included). We’ll automatically debit the rest of your tour fee from your chequing account in equal monthly payments, with the final payment due 35 days before you travel.
Please note: If two consecutive payments are declined, your account will be moved to the 4-Step Manual Plan.
4-Step Manual Plan
Manage your payments manually with a $249 initial payment plus your travel protection plan costs (if included). You’ll then make three more payments at key milestones as your departure date approaches. The final balance is due 65 days before your trip.
Please note: Payments on this plan are not automatically deducted and must be made manually.
